General Assembly of the IV in Nuremberg

This year’s General Meeting of the International Association for Christian Education (IV) will take place from 28 to 30 November 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany. It will be hosted by the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Evangelischer Schulbünde in Deutschland (AGES), whose chairman, Mark Meinhard, runs the Protestant Wilhelm-Löhe-Schule in Nuremberg. This school is also the venue for the conference. In addition to the statutory tasks of the General Assembly, there will be a study day on the topic “Strong schools – strong children. Strategies of Empowerment in Christian schools from theological and psychological perspectives”. A visit to the “Memorium Nürnberger Prozesse”, where the court proceedings against Nazi criminals have taken place in 1945, will complete the programme as well as a guided tour of the city. The conference is also open to interested individuals not affiliated with a member association of IV.
